The year began with another collaboration with director Jeff Janisheski for a fabulous production of Sam Shepard's Lie Of The Mind.
Throughout the year I've been scoring and mixing the first 8 episodes of the documentary series The Music Makers, featured on BET Networks.
This wonderful new production from director Justin Bryant and producer Darralynn Hutson also spurred a collaboration with soul singer Jaguar Wright on the title song I wrote for the series.
More episodes (and re-runs) are coming up soon. The last four are currently scheduled to air on Dec. 28th (in two days!), Jan. 1st, 4th, 11th and 15th.
I had the privilege to work on Harlem Sistas Double Dutch, film maker Nicole Franklin's beautiful short for PBS.
In our continued collaboration, Pacific Street Films (which were recently honored with a MoMA retrospective) brought me on board to score a four-part series about financial literacy, and we are working toward finishing a stunning documentary about artist Alfred Levitt.
I had the pleasure of collaborating once again with German-Israeli dancer-choreographer Lior Lev, who commissioned me to expand our piece No Exit for a hit performance in Stuttgart. More European performances are planned for 2006.
Danish director Anders Branson hired me to work on his experimental film Le Mis Popote ("The Erroneous Earth Kitchen").
I continued to work with singer-songwriter Michael HarPaz, mixing and also writing new works together.
I worked on directors Michael Knowles' and Jordan Bayne's new drama, Argo.
A lot more is yet to come!
